(Praying is one belief, our culture belief – we have some personal connection with our God )

What does prayer mean to you?
We speak Tamil. Praying is one belief, our culture belief – we have some personal connection with our God. If we pray we can get some peaceful mind, I will be relieved from any stress or something like that. I believe if I pray it will happen in some days.

Has prayer changed for you over the years?
When I was younger I wouldn’t care that much – I do believe God but wouldn’t pray sometimes. Now, I am getting older so I believe more than younger

Who taught you to pray ?
I really lucky to have family members to teach me and not to forget to go to temple or we can pray at home. We have to be so clean and take shower before we go pray. We can pray how many times we want. After we pray we have to put the ashes on our forehead – to remind us that after we die we will be ashes too.
